Ezra Arthur designs products for life. They believe even the simplest, everyday objects can be heirlooms that are treasured and functional. They’re also a family business. Four brothers started the brand to honor their grandfather through heirloom-quality lifestyle accessories. They’ve focused on crafting well-made pieces that will last for generations — goods that will eventually pass from grandfather to grandson, continuing down a family line.

These dependable keepsakes are created by balancing contemporary techniques and traditional practices, all with a focus on handcrafting. Since quality is a top priority, Ezra Arthur uses only the finest materials in every product: high-quality leathers, no plastics, rubber, or glue — everything you need for a product that improves with age.

At the height of the economic downturn, Ezra Arthur noticed how many small factories were closing at an alarming rate. They saw how trades and old manufacturing processes were being abandoned in favor of faster, but lower quality products and they sought to do something about it. By combining modern engineering with century-old practices, they revived these old practices in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona’s waning warehouse district. The result is a repertoire of lasting goods that look as great as they perform.
In order to help these objects last a lifetime as they’re intended to, Ezra Arthur offers some helpful advice. The natural leathers they use are intended to change and develop patina overtime. If however, the natural leather becomes dirty use a damp cloth to rub saddle soap into the leather, working it into a light lather. Wipe away the lather, and air dry the leather. Then, finish by oiling with a preservative, such as mink oil.
